I appreciate what Catfish has to say about bringing back flatland, and that he called a united sport, freestyle. Cuz its not freestyle these days. Daniel had some good input too. Charles Mulligan Manson is the kind of guy you hate at the parks. The one who doesn’t want to talk and basically inspire young riders. Damn, after they’re the ones buying your magazine. I just hope Cat doesn’t turn into Rick Thorn. When Thorn went to Cali he got all Good Charlotte looking on us dumped his bike riding career. I could be wrong on Thorn, if so, sorry. Let’s talk about our Dicks too, these little boys watching love that.

Quick comment about flat…I started riding in 85 and quit riding flat around 90…rode street and ramps till a few months ago when I started riding flat again. I love riding it all…and yes, it is FREEstyle. Back when I started we weren’t “flatlanders” or “street riders” so on and so forth. We were just riders.
Flat is about to blow the heck up…and in good parts because guys like Flat Tony and Flatfish understand that it’s all about just having fun on your bike, and respect for FREEstyle.

it’s cool to see daniel there and them all talking about flatland. i really want to see more flatland tricks at all aspects of contest. i hope that show is successful too! catfish kicks ass. i like the way bmx is growing and i want it to keep doing so.

dude that was a pretty sweet video. so true about bmx and skating and they didnt put either one down as much as the other if you know what i mean. but that cracked me up when tht dude put a comment somewhere here giving catfish shit for bad mouthing missouri, i havent got a clue what its like never been to the states but they all got good ideas and mentality on the subjects they talked about, and flatland is fuckin crazy mad respect for those who can do it well

I see your useing my FREEstyle,style of writeing freestyle,thats how I always try to write it on Global-flat.That`s Rad!(Anywayz,back to bussiness).We can thank all those event promoters and some of the big companies for the “almost seperation” of flatland,from the rest of BMX.Flatland didnt go anywhere,It just wasnt invited to the party.Now all of a suden…there interested,flatland is one of the cool kids now,the life of the party!Sadly most of todays kids grew up not knowing how fun it really is,and that YES it`s part of BMX:FREEstyle.
