Ian may be the smoothest freecoaster rider out there, but no one even comes close to matching Bruce’s talent on a freecoaster. No one has even come close to matching what he did in the fcad video. He’s got unmatched style, talent, and originality. Plus he’s ridden pretty much every bike set up around over the years since he won the xgames.

the first rider I ever saw doing a real line of awesome tricks on a F/C is still the best in my opinion: Bruce Crisman.

i was pretty sure that on vital or here it was already decided that karl poynter is the people’s favorite. but that’s always questionable.
and i’m sorry for being picky, but i’m not a big fan of “let’s coast backwards all day on my freecoaster and half-cab out over [almost] nothing”. just cause you have a freecoaster doesn’t mean you have to be riding backwards in every single set you do (in the edit). freecoasters obviously help you do more, but isolating yourself to freecoaster tricks kinda ruins it (for me).

bruce is a great rider but in this video it didnt show anything close to his full skill, his facad video was amazing but it seems to me that ever since he left federal for khe he has gone a little down hill but still bruce has done some massive stairs backwards and dan cox is trying to catch up to him

Ian Schwartz is my favorite for sure. I love his style. A lot of other frecoaster riders don’t look natural. Their lines always look like they did a normal run and forced a bunch of fakie tricks. Ian always looks smooth and natural.

Cassettes are awesome. It is a different way of riding, and to anyone who has not ever ridden one, whether you like them or not, they are not easy by any means to ride with. you ahve to change the entire way you ride- you cant just give a little crank to help slow you down, or to get that extra force to pull the bike out of a fakie. None of this was weak, and these guys can really ride. Until we see ANY of the people who say otherwise on this site or in the mag, it is quite apparent that your rambling incoherent responses, doused in foul language, will not make you any of a better rider- little lone that your opinion will even be remotely considered. Well done guys! I want one, but I cannot ride them worth a damn :/

my favorite freecoaster riders are ian schwartz, karl poynter, and bruce crisman. But Ian schwartz’s part from lotek mixtape is what inspired me to try freecoasters and i love it. This is why id have to say ian schwartz is my favorite. Then theres shane weston, this guy can ride backwards, very unique lines, im surprised no one mentioned him

he comes to this trail spot and just shreds the trails and with the freecaoster its sweet cause theres no rolling noise so all u hear is the whoosh of rolling up the lips its awsome
