ASA Big Air Triples Promo Video

If you aren’t familiar with the ASA Big Air Triples events, it’s a series of contests that consist of two huge dirt jump style jumps and a big quarter pipe. The next contest is going down at the beginning of August at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, California. Check out this promo video to get a feel for the comp and if you are in the area, definitely try to make it out there.
What do you guys think about the head to head bracket elimination style of running a contest? To me it seems like a really cool way for a non-rider live audience to get involved…

I haven’t seen that evebt before; but it seems like a lot of the contest riding today is focused on the box jump and quarter, so why not condense it into a simpler event. The head to head format would be quicker and more interesting for TV I imagine.

Hopefully you get some steez in there like Dardens one handed tabes, not just double-whip 3 balls all afternoon.
