2009 Simpel Session TV Segment

Sure there are a billion Simpel Session videos floating around, but that just means it was a really good event. This video is a bit different—it’s a full TV segment from a local station in Estonia that covered the event. It had skateboarding mixed in with the BMX stuff, but this version has been chopped to only show BMX. It’s a cool perspective on the event as a whole and even has some after party footage.

Side note: At one of the after parties I asked the event organizer Risto Kalmre how he was able to stay awake all week, put on the contest, and still make it to the parties and he replied, “I’l have plenty of time to sleep next week…” Dedication.
