i think the dew tour needs new judges.
1. mark webb cam in 4rd after barely landing a decade to late 360?
2.drew bezanson’s crazy tricks and the he only dose and not making podium?
3. it seems like the judges favor daniel dhers and dave mirra. daniel’s last run ( saw the whole thing on tv) and it was the worst safety run ever, and he got like an 88, and dave mirra is the legend and whatnot, but his runs werent that impressive, but correct me if im wrong.
but i do beleive that garret won that, way to go garret.

I’m not going to lie, Mirra’s MASSIVE 540 was amazing! But Garret did have some pretty sweet lines. It was a Gary Young style run.

garrett won fo sho cause he used the whole course, everyone else was just using the quarter box jump section. I think flairs and double whips just wont cut it anymore.

I wouldn’t say gary Young style at all but it was pretty good. If I was judging I wouldn’t have given him the win, though. He seemed to get pretty lost after about 25 seconds and just started doing single tailwhips on like EVERYTHING. Before that it was just bars and tucks…

Dude, even mirra said he was sketchy on that last run. Haha He was killing it in his 1st run, but I dunno about 2nd place podium. Drew Bezanson should call the cops, that dude got robbed.

I agree that Mirra goes high on everything, but i completely disagree that his stylew is awesome.. he lands everything squirly.

the judging is the way it is.. yeah! it sucks! but there’s nothing we can do about it unfortunately.
webbie was also on fire! yea, he messed up a little with some small tricks, but had some serious bangers too. if one day he’ll put together a full run with NO mistakes or anything at the dew tour, then it is going to be really really hard to beat him. he’s ranked 4th atm? and we still have 2 more stops to go.. can’t wait! + webby has the best 9’s in the business!

garret rode great - fast and good lines with a lot of tricks. it was goood to watch him ride, but for me it was also a bit boring already.
mirra’s first run was great, but he’s second run fo’sho didn’t deserve the score he got.. especially when you compare with the scores some others got for their runs. mirra’s second run was pretty sketchy imo. nothing to take away from mirra though.
dhers put together a pretty goood second run and it was a lot better to watch him ride since he has gotten a lot smoother than he used to be.
tooker and drew b got ripped off big time! seriously i don’t know what the judges were doing during their runs!
maddog was killing it and would have made it in the top 5 for sure, but unfortunately he got unlucky with that spine. i hope he’s back alright after hitting it hard against the railings right next to the spine.
nyquist’s 7 drop-in from the step down was awsome, but i do have to say that he needs some variety.. all he does is barspins.
can’t say too much about mast and webby since i didn’t get to see their both runs thanks to all the lovely commercial that was on eurosport2.. from this video though i saw mast absolutely killing it. hope he lands that front whip soon

garretts more dialed then anyone in the field (drew bezanson is up there too) he doesnt huck shit or make everything look sketchy as fuck, the judges reward him for that. id rather watch garrett ride then watch dudes huck frontflip no handed knack knacks riding away on there ball sacks any day of the week. best rider in bmx ? i think so.

i think garret deserved to win, he threw so many tricks at pretty much every oppertunity he got. he destroyed. but i think that webby shouldve got second and maddog third.

its not about the best tricks, or the craziest tricks.
Its about who rode the longest, did the most tricks, with the most consistency.
Put a foot down, your done.
Waste 5 seconds cause you landed bad and gotta figure out what to do next, your done.
Hang up and your feet blow off, your done.
Redo’s and ‘i know that guy can do that trick but he just didnt pull it that time’ doesnt work here. BIG money means precision, and strict rules. Fuck you whiners, ride your local contest for 5 years straight and bitch because other contest dont work the ways yours do.

Mirra? Mirra can win anything he wants. Daves “out of control” moments when he went 4x higher than he should have, did something 95% of the world cant, and did it with no brakes. You curb kids and pole riders without brakes doesnt compare to daves style of riding with no brakes. your no where in the same sport of bike riding, besides the fact its BIKE riding. Everyone in BMX should be all on dave mirras nuts but you 15 year old kids that swing from the compressed balls of girlpants wearing street rider X, and couldnt know a night and day difference between nyquist doing too many quadtruckbarspins and one of you bastards doing too many feeble grinds .

Drew had a thick run too with crazy and original tricks
Daniel and Dave rode amazing but just throw their usual tricks: nothing very new or impressive: no risk taken.
Hard to judge Garret because he’s the only one to hit every ramps in the park and throw his tech moves every 5 seconds. Nothing too crazy but almost impossible to imitate. No flair, no abuse of the jumbox. He is different, good to see original lines.

Fucking stupid ass corporate america networks… I guess the only way those dumb ass networks would pick up the contest is if Mirra or Nyquist wasin the top 3… You mean to tell me Mirra’s squirly ass run with only one trick that nobody else dose was better than Webb or Maddog or any other of those kids killing it…. Mirra shouldn’t have even been in the top 5… And Nyquist - his runs still look like a throw back from ‘97… Just because these these 2 are veterans and everybody knows their name dosen’t mean they HAVE to be in the top 3 every fucking TV aired contest.. These other kids are fucking ripping it way beyond the shit that mirra & nyquist are doing… It all boils down to good ol corporate america - all they care about is their fucking ratings and could give a shit less about the intergretity of the sport… Judging should be honest and fair - not who is going to get you the most viewers…
