Portland
Check out Rich Hirsch, Chester Blacksmith, Jesse Whaley, and a few other Portland locals as they head up to Washington for a pool session that included chopping off snakes' heads with a machete.
We kind of forgot about these bails, slams, and crashes the last two weeks. These were supposed to go up right after the Dew Tour was over, but better late than never. Check out two minutes of dudes eating it...all of which got right back up, believe it or not.
Redline's Kevin Kiraly had a late flight the day after the Portland Dew Tour was over so we linked up for a few hours of cruising in between the Northwest rain showers. Here's the quick edit from our chill session in the streets of downtown Portland.
Check out Mike Spinner's quad qhip/1080/triple whip run, Daniel Dhers' complete winning run, and the rest of the bangers that went down Sunday afternoon in the park finals in Portland. This is progressive contest riding at its finest and will make your jaw drop.
Tailwhip catch tailwhip, bikeflip, flair double whip, opposite flair whip, 15-foot inverts...and lots of other bangers. The vert riders were on fire this weekend in Portland and this footage of the finals we found has the best of the best so don't miss it.
When a contest has three double flips, a 360 flip, and a podium that consists of Luke Parslow, Cory Nastazio, and Corey Bohan, you know it's a good one. We were able to find some footage of the finals and basically have all three of each rider's runs. Check out what you missed in Portland a few days ago.
Since the Nike headquarters are near Portland they threw an 80's themed after party on Saturday night of the Dew Tour. They had the Lightning Bolts art show set up and had flown in some legends of BMX like Mark Lewman, Ron Wilkerson, Mike Dominguez, Brian Blyther, and Scott Breithaupt. Check out the party pics from the crazy evening and excuse the out of focus digi cam pics. We need point and shoot camera sponsors around here...
The Dew Tour videos are like a time capsule for the most progressive ramp riding. Each stop of the tour things get a little more crazy and this park qualifying video is no exception. Craig Mast, Anthony Napolitan, James Foster, Rob Darden, Garrett Reynolds, and a ton of others set it off...
Every time I see Daniel Dhers, the first thing I say to him is, "Congratulations." That's because Daniel is always winning something and this afternoon in Portland he won his third consecutive Dew Tour stop of the year. However Mike Spinner put some serious pressure on him…read on to see the highlights, results, and photos.
Well the unthinkable has happened—Jamie Bestwick has been taken over by his good friend and riding partner Chad Kagy. It was a close contest all the way to the last run where Jamie Bestwick crashed on a double downside whip. Check out the rest of the highlights, full results, and photos inside.
