S&M team manager and Utah local Matt Beringer wrote in today with two bits of news that we found interesting...
Wow...we are all so extremely happy to see this. Five months after rehab from a partial paralysis due to a serious head injury, Mike Aitken got back on a BMX bike and is 180ing and hopping around with a huge smile on his face. He's got a lot of work to do as far as getting back to 100%, but Mikey is totally committed and we wish him all the best!
2009 marks the ten year anniversary of Fit Bike Co. and instead of recieving, Fit is giving us Stay Fit in everyway possible. From 30 Web videos to a solid production to a huge premiere party. We decided it was time for a quick interview with Robbie Morales to get some of the lost details on the upcoming DVD.
Fit just posted a few photos of Mike Aitken and a new bike he just built up. He's not quite back on the BMX yet, but he's been doing lots of therapy every day and continues to progress and get better all the time. This new bike will help serve as more motivation to get back on it...
Someone uploaded the old Fit Barcelona video to Vimeo and instead of making them take it down Fit posted it on their site, encouraging people to share this 5 year old gem.

FOX was gracious enough to host a jam yesterday at their SoCal office to help raise money for their team rider Mike Aitken. Lots of pros and locals were there, peep the photos.
