The second stop of the AST Dew Tour is hittin’ in Cleveland, Ohio over this weekend and Dirt prelims were originally scheduled for Wednesday night, but a crazy thunderstorm rolled through and ruined those plans. So, to the dismay of a bunch or riders, the prelims started bright-and-early at 9am this morning. I would love to have footage of it, but United Airlines decided it wanted to leave my video camera back in Chicago…along with my clothes and the chargers for all my gear. Awesome. The wind in Cleveland has pushed back Vert Finals until later tonight, that is, at least that’s the plan. No one is really sure what’s going to go down, but if worse comes to worse, they plan on running off the prelim results. And if that’s the case, then Jamie will have gone two ‘fer two in vert this year. Not to leave the packed house without a bit of a show, the finalists put on a demo over sorts; doubles routines, some really good riding, and even some old school stuff thrown in.
