Fit frames are made from foreign materials, the pieces are shopped out (s&m doesn't have a laser cutter, or 3-d cnc machines and they most likely out source), and EVERY frame has different tubing and lengths and “super-therm” heat treating is not even a real thing, no heat treating company will understand what your talking about, also with oddyseys “41 thermal”. they use fixtures to build frames thus the metal is not welded while hot, so rather its pre-heat treat on the tubing and its welded cold which would be retarded because welding completely changes the composition of the metal, or its post which is heating the metal to a temperature, maintaining it and then letting it cool slowly, and this is relatively cheap. ESPECIALLY because of the bulk orders (fit sells how many frames again?) they're price is much cheaper for everything used to produce the parts.  

AND! rider owned companies were meant to put the power back in the power of the rider, not create even more profiteers!!!

if S&M doesn't have a CNC machine, then how do they make their stems in their building?

I find what the guy says above to be very unlikely.  how does s&m make US made stems and such with no CNC machines?  and i like that thing how you said they let the metal cool slowly cause if you knew about metal and such you want the metal to cool naturally.  If you speed up the process of cooling a weld.  the weld and metal then becomes brital and snaps.

Well eastern does drill holes in there frames.  and its only in places that material is not needed.  other companies use the same principle.  make tubing ultra thin where it is not needed.  and my question for you is do you even know what magma treating is?  or did you just read that in danscomp when you ordered your frame?

Well, I guess 300 grams is not much but it IS noticeable!

For those in USA and UK, 300 grams is the approx weight of a brake, single cable AND a lever! (300 grams = 10,5 oz.)

so if you notice a little difference when you take off your brake, then it IS noticeable!
