i just have have to say… things i hate:
odyssey v3 hub…i blew out like 20 bearings in the driver or w.e
dk r/t forks…totally gay…bent in like two days
eastern ultra lite bars….bend in half
fit grips…lasted me like two days
khe folding tires…popped every couple of days
demolition medial lt cranks…bent the left crank arm 5 times
shadow brake cables….gay just gay thats it
tree pegs….like fell apart literally just like fell apart
ok get real….
every part has a purpose, like the dk fork you mentioned. the r/t means RACE/TRAILS. Thats RACE/TRAILS. One more time….RACE/TRAILS. Which also means NOT STREET.
moving on, i have the shadow linear cable and i do whips and barspins, not one problem this cable is as good as the odsy linear which is a beast of a cable. wraps around the frame and evo2 brakes lock up perfectly.
ive been riding my regular hazard cassette laced to a hazard lite for over a year no problems what so ever. got a 9t driver simply to have 25-9 not because mine broke.
no personal experience with khe folding but have 2 friends who are brakeless street and park riders and theirs are fine. i use the ruben foldings which are simply amazing.
maybe get the right parts to ride what you ride
MastrBlastr maybe you should just stop sucking at riding a bike

FBM is always a good way to go, along with odyssey shadow and fly. You can call FBM and get the names of their 3 or so welders who make the frames my hand every day. they are built to last and i guess new york is in the USA so they are made in the USA. they just dont super stamp it everywhere like s&m. New FBMs may only be 5 lbs flat (omg sooooo heavy—bs) but that extra half puond more than one of the little tiny trendy light frames means you can guarantee your frame to last a good long time. odyssey doesnt need explaining they are just odyssey.

im pegless and i mostly ride trails, but ive taken hard crashes that would break crappy parts. if i ride street its just like 360s and barspins no grinding so my bike doesnt go through what his probly does.

I bought a haro complete, happy with it. I agree Haro could lighten their bikes up a bit but my bike feels verrrry sturdy.
I do plan to slowly replace the parts as I need, but the cranks, sprocket, wheels, and frame all feel and look very well put together. The bars, forks, etc, will all be replaced soon.
Say what you want about haro, but I'll be rocking this frame for a while im sure.
PS When you ride a heavier bike, you might get some meat on yer arms there you scrawny fuckers ahahahh ;P

Eastern are shite. The only good thing, they've made are pedals.

dont expect anything from haro gt diamondback hoffman and never consider any thing from any store but a damn bike s etc they dont have interest in progression
and never consider any thing from any store but a damb bike shop
eastern is the same a gt and harro, quality changed for profit
demolition has its strong points but rims, back hub, and cranks are not,
macniel is a very promising company with inovation in their heads, wethepeople has stuff in the works that will change your look on them shadow is puttin out great products with some hits and some misses, mirraco is eccelent especially the chocolate frame, kink is in it for the riders so dont dis just ask their team, same goes for odyssey and g sport, animal is built for street and it holds up for street, s&m is one of the top in inavative products and inavation includes trial and error, fit is one of the companies that is all about their riders and keepin them runnin, fly, sunday, and odyssey make damn good products and they are changing the bmx industry with the way they look to improve the bikes, there is more to say so dis on and i will defend

ok, i think that primo is shit now, their hola hops were good, and they had some good seats back in the day (the new pivitol ones aren't really primo). their cranks creak and even grease won't stop it, besides that they strip out or break. the next thing is their balence rims, the idiots made the things way to thin at the nipple seats and every single rim has a shity ass weld on the seam that splits. but of course you can rely on at least 5 of the nipples pulling through before that happens. the good part is that primo has warrantied every single one of the 20+ rims i have seen this happen to. ok, now onto their hubs. the primo front is ok, i've seen a few of the axles bend and one break, they did a good job by putting oversized bearings in it. the locknuts are made of aluminum to save weight and they end up stripping out and eventualy pinching the bearings, but that takes a while. ok, on to the mix cassette. this hub is not so good, the one peice drivers always split right where the pawls pivot, making them only engage half-way.and they regular drivers have a lock nut that always strips out. i have also seen the bearings blow up a few times in these hubs. over all, i have seen way to many primo parts fail to ever be able to trust the name again.

ohh, and demolition really lives up to its name, most of their parts get demolished after a little bit of riding. their cranks ALWAYS bend or break, their stems are just a shittly design with shitty aluminum that makes them bend. and their hubs are the worst, they always either blow up the bearings because of bad tolerences, or the pawls just strip the hub out. and who really needs to save weight so bad to buy an aluminum driver, come on, only 5 or 6 teeth at a time cary the load you put on the chain, this lets the chain dig into the aluminum, making it so after a good month of riding you have to buy a new driver. also by making aluminum drivers, they had to make the body of it thicker, making the bearings smaller and weaker. the only thing you can rely on from this hub is that it WILL fail at the least convenient time.
