I ride since 1987, and back then around 27″, 28″ was the norm, so why change something that works just perfectly?
I'm running 27,5″ uncut bars now

I'm running Liquor Bikes Double D's 8.5 x 29, uncut and they are damn big!
Of course, I'm better at switching parts out than actually riding so… I just try stuff.

Ive cut my bars down to 22.5 in. I don't know how wide they were before, because I've had them for something like 6 years, all I know is that when I went to the skatepark all the little kids were amazed how small theywere. I remember a few years ago on all the bike checks everyone cut their bars 1-2 in each side.

i run super tiny bars. thats the first thing everyone says about my bike…”how do you ride such narrow bars?” they're the animal bars, i think they stopped making them, but they are super narrow, i couldn't tell you the measurement, but probably around 22″. it sounds ridiculous, but when your 6'3″, its easy to get your bars caught up in your legs, so i keep them tiny and out of the way

I want to get the sky highs so badly and keep um uncut. Big bars for life. Are they durable?
