it all depends on you and what kind of stuff you ride. for me before my bike got jacked i didn't have any. i found it unessacary to have them cause i never used them

Bitching about trends and comparing BMX to skateboarding is BMX’s biggest problem.

well its all about where you ride and what ur style is because if you ride dirt or somethin like that, they'll just get in your way and theyre seriously necessary if you ride street

I RIDE THEM BECAUSE GRINDING PEGLESS IS A BITCH, IT FUCKS YOUR FORKS AND DROPOUTS UP, AND IS WAY HARDER.
BUT IF YOU STRICTLY RIDE LIKE DIRT OR DONT LIKE GRINDING THEM YOU DONE NEED THEM. OR IF YOUR TRENDY AND WANT TO BE LIKE EDDIE OR IAN SCHWARTZ. WHO BOTH ARE UBER GOOD AND KNOW HOW TO HOLD IT DOWN PEGLESS

Nottodayhoax - THIS REALLY BOTHERS YOU, DOESN'T IT? ha hahah
I think it's hilarious that people called “pegless” trendy!! To me, that's NORMAL! Since pegs are normally “added” (well, a lot of completes come with them now, bet..) I find it trendier to HAVE them. I guess the pegless grind thing is the trendy part, not just having pegs on your bike. I just don't consider pegs a “stock” part of a bike, but I guess times have changed- correct me if I'm wrong, b!

definitly an add on except for completes designed specifically for street. All of the bikes i've ridin haven't come with pegs and the one complete i got that did have pegs, i had to switch out because they were the Worst pegs ever. There just on completes now to accomidate that style of riding. Normally though the stock pegs companies throw on are p.o.s. and they probally figure that if the person dosne't want pegs that they can take them off and go pegless.

i ride trails, so why would i have even 1 peg? i only would have a peg to act as a “washer”, but otherwise i wouldnt have pegs on my rig…and on a better note, since its Spring, who wants to ride trails and have a BBQ?!

I love grinding, so I will always have pegs on, but it’s all in how you like your bike.

i run cut down shadow little one pegs
they were 4″, now they're 3″
i really like pegless riding, its way more tech and challenging..
im just not ready to fully take off the pegs though..i love rails and smiths too much
but i do grind pegless though, i shaved down the dropout on my forks for it..its feels really smooth if you can pul it off
im on an off

I dont, cuz i dont grind nemore. If you use them, then have them on. If you dont use them, take them off. Simple
