I only ride kevlar tires now. The weight savings on wheels feel sooooo good.
I ride a KHE Dirt 2.15″ in front and an Odyssey G-Frequency 1.75″ in the back.

Big tire up front helps me grip better, but since my back wheel is always going straight i run it smaller to conserve as much rotating weight as possible.

1.95 is probably fine. I like to rock a huge tire up front, but the size in the back really doesn't matter… which is why mine is so small.

No, a 20″ tube will expand to fit the tire. Are you getting kevlar tires?

Sounds dialed! Be sure to run regular tubes and not the thick ones or the ones with the goop on the inside.

I'm old school. The reason I run a 2.1 and a 1.95 is that the rear end of a bike is heavier so by running a smaller tire in back it feels like it balances the weight. You follow. Plus when I land from a high 180 or something the larger front tire absorbs the landing better. Try different sizes in front and you'll see. How much lighter do you weak kids want your bike. Heck all of you ride brakeless and or pegless. Lighter tires?! Come on!

I am really new to bmx, but I did notice the bigger in front /smaller in rea thing and asked some more experinced riders about and they gave me the explaination you did, makes total sense. Didn;t know about the kelvlar tires though good tip, thanks.
Now, having said all that, I do have rear breaks and two pegs, and I always will, I just can't live without. Having said that, what is the one single area where I could splurge and reduce the overall weight of my bike, besides the frame. I ride a WTP Addict if it makes a differnece.
Thanks in advance.

Kissy,
I'm looking at the Addict on WTP's website and I'm seeing a pretty dialed bike. It doesn't look like there is one bad part on there. It appears that you COULD get a SLIGHTLY lighter part just about everywhere but you'd have to do em all to add up a significant weight savings.
The exception to that is your frame, forks and bars. It looks like your frame weighs in at just under 6 lbs, your forks are 44oz, and your bars are 30oz.
You said you didn't want to replace your frame but here are links for my favorite bars and forks.
Primo KAMIKAZE 2 Forks at 32oz: http://www.danscomp.com/353276.php
Kink Badger V2 Bars at 23.2oz: http://www.danscomp.com/362390.php
If I were you I'd ride it as is and just replace what you break or get bored of.
