So I did this big drop the other day, I landed it fine but the day after my wrist hurt alot. Any tips on why this happend or how not to have it happen again?
Any help would be helpful to me.

Maybe you tweaked a muscle. I did that once and just kept stretching it and it was fine in like 2-3 days. Your probably just over working the muscle or something.

Thanks, but will it eventually stop happening if I continue doing them? Because they are fun.

it could of been because your rear wheel hit first instead of both at once…

Landing hard just hurts… Not much you can do about it except learn to land with less impact. Watch Sean Burns ride for examples of this…

actually u want to land rear wheel first. If you land both wheels at the same time on big drops like that it doesnt absorb any impact. Also, the more forward speed you have will help absorb impact. Think of it like this. If you jump (on your feet, not a bike) from something high, you always bend your knees, right? This absorbs impact. If you don't bend your knees and land straight legged, it hurts your knees. The same principle goes for bikes. You want to try to absorb the impact. Landing rear wheel first spreads the impact out. Does that make sense or did I confuse you?
