Savage (yes, that’s his real last name) hails from South Africa and has wild hair.He wanted to fire out this massive double set three, but the stars weren’t on his side. One trip had us kicked out in the dead of night after we spent 40 minutes setting up flashes, generators and getting hyped. The following day was a bit more of the same, but the after this attempt, Savage’s bike wasn’t doing so hot and the thought of his cranks snapping off had him spooked. Sometimes it’s just better to let it go…especially when “something out there is telling you to settle down.
