2008 AST Dew Tour - Stop 3 - Portland, Oregon - Dirt Final Results & Photos

I’ve said before that a contest was wild and progressive and so on, but tonight’s dirt finals here in Portland for the third stop of the AST Dew Tour was absolutely unbelievable and by far the most outrageous display of BMX I’ve ever seen in an hour block of time. Look below to read some of the highlights and see some photos—then check back later in the week to see if we were able to dig up any footage of the finals. You won’t want to miss it.

The first run of the night set the tone for the entire competition. Luke Parslow came out with a 92 point run that included a flip turndown, frontflip, tailwhip into the berm, and a double flip. After that run everyone knew they had to bring their A-game to the area…and so it went.

Cory Nastazio had an amazing run that included a table frontflip and 360 backflip, Diogo Canina landed a triple whip, Steven McCann did a no-handed 720 to turndown, Ryan Guettler did a 1080 but took his foot off at the very end, Cameron White did a triple whip, a frontie into the berm, and a whip to barspin, Rob Darden did multiple 720s in a single run, Ryan Nyquist did a nothing to double barspin in one run and in another run did a barspin 720 and a double barspin 720, James Foster did a double flip, triple whip, and windshield wiper, Dennis Enarson did a triple whip, flip whip, and barspin to whip, Corey Bohan did a barspin to whip and tons of stylish 360 variations, then tried to 180 the last set… Whew, that was a mouthful! Told you it was wild!
