Martti Kuoppa and Viki Gomez have been pushing the limits with their company KBG. Diversion TV caught up with Marrti and Viki to ask them some questions about their latest full length video, “Impulsivity.”
DTV: What was your motivation to make this video?
Martti: My main motivation was to see how far I can take my skills. I sort of went over the edge by trying many times certain things, but at the end,
there was only 3 tricks that I could not pull for the DVD.
Viki: Only motivation for me was to show different styles, tricks and show to everyone how infinity is Flatland…drop concepts and bombs time to time is my only reason to live….
DTV: What trick/combo in the video gets you the most stoked?
Martti: I am stoked on the x footed whiplashes, high speed perverted rolaid and
360 kickflip from hang 5 to halfpacker.
Viki: Probably the crossfoot girator to death truck.
DTV: Which trick took you the longest to film?
Martti: Well, the x footed whiplashes took the longest to learn, around 10 months
to get more than 10 of them. Then I think the hang 5 to 360 kickflip took me
4 days and 3 - 4 hours of filming each day to get it done.
Viki: Problably this one I ve mention….but the time doesnt matter if at the end
you pull the trick. Remember that guys!
