Sponsor Changes For Allan Cooke In 2009

As the end of the year quickly approaches the economy troubles in our nation show their face once again. After 11 years of service and dedication to the brand Allan Cooke received word today that Specialized Bicycles would not continue their agreement. In the past few months Allan had verbally agreed with Specialized to start taking on more responsibility with designing and marketing the BMX line for the company in addition to his career long position as an athlete for the brand.

Another big change for Allan was an equally long term sponsorship with Fox Racing has come to a close. Allan will be staying on with DC shoes. Boost Mobile has also decided not to continue its relationship with several of their athlete’s including Allan.

It’s amazing to see some of the top riders in the sport without bike sponsors at this time. There seems to be more TV coverage than ever and publicity seems to be at an all time high.

Allan Cooke is a consistent main event and finals rider in BMX Dirt and Park and a pioneer in the X Games BMX Big Air where he is the only rider in the world to do a superman seat grab back flip off the 70 foot side of the ramp!

Anyone interested in sponsoring Allan Cooke should contact Aaron at propermanagement@hotmail.com or Allan directly cookeallan@yahoo.com . It’s a unique opportunity to partner with an athlete who has a real interest to help support the companies who choose him to market their product. Allan Cooke is also the only BMX rider to travel year round in his 40 foot RV and is the creator of The Local Exposure Tour. (www.localexposuretour.com )

I would like this opportunity to also say that Allan is prepared to shatter all previous world records for BMX distance back flip. Allan was the first BMX rider recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for BMX distance back flip. Since BMX has been on the Mega Ramp his record has been beaten and Guinness has not officially recognized distances currently being set on the Mega Ramp. Allan is prepared to set a distance that considerably farther than Mega Ramp’s 70 foot side. Location and build crew are standing by for someone to foot the bill.
