FOOTHILL RANCH, CA – July 29, 2009 – Arnette is proud to announce that veteran dirt and park destroyer, Rob Darden, is the newest addition to its BMX team.

“I’m super psyched to join the Arnette squad and help build their BMX program,” Rob states.  “It’s great to ride for a brand that has such deep roots in action sports, not to mention their products are insane.”

A NorCal native now living in the mecca of BMX, Greenville, NC, Rob has all the tech tricks on lock.  When competing, he loves to go big and throw down ridiculous combos, which always gets the crowds pumped.  His passion, dedication and work ethic are unmatched, and at twenty-eight years old he has firmly established himself as one of today’s most exciting riders.

“We couldn’t be happier to have Rob heading up our BMX team,” says Arnette Brand Manager, Joe Freitag.  “His skills combined with his overall involvement in the sport and great attitude make him the perfect rider to help take our BMX program to the next level.”

With summer in full swing, Rob’s schedule is packed with contests, photo shoots and sponsor commitments.  Last weekend he competed in the first-ever Nike 6.0 HB BMX Pro in Huntington Beach, CA, and this week/weekend he will compete at the Summer X Games.  Plus, he is also in the hunt for the 2009 Dew Cup as he battles it out on this summer’s multi-stop AST Dew Tour.

In addition to Arnette, Rob also rides for Osiris, Rockstar Energy Drink, Ogio, Skullcandy, Premium Products, XBALM and Team Blowin’ It.
