New Fly Pegs Now Available

Fly’s new lightweight (3.1oz) aluminum pegs are now available. We just got some of these in at the office and they are pretty sweet. They are thinner on the top to save weight and thicker on the bottom so you don’t grind through them so quickly. They come in a variety of colors too and are available in 14mm or 3/8″.

how is it gay? How are they taking it too far? there are no holes drilled anywhere. I personally believe fly is one of the only companies in bmx that have there shit together. They are very inovative and have very very nice products. Companies like Eastern are the ones that you should talk about taking it too far. There the ones drilling holes in there frames and pegs.

dude they make sense. chill out. you dont need the weight in certain areas. its not like theyre injecting their stuff with helium. theyre also not the first company to do somethng similar. so youre gay. haha

eastern is good for a budget. I wouldnt go as far to say they “kick ass”. There niner cassette? from my experience as a mechanic at a local shop working on these are a pain in the ass. I would never recomend one to any rider who is going to ride the shit out of it. But for a kid who is looking for a bike with all the modern fancies eastern is perfect. 25-9 gearing, slim seat, big bars, integrated headtube, drilled out frame and its all for a fairly low price. So eastern has there stuff together in another form.

he might have been refering the their rims. but evey other rim company is doing it now also. again, material not needed so they took it out with no added price to you. or go get daddy dewalt cordless and drill what ever you want. side note, if you flip the fly peg over itll help you stay locked on rails. just like the odyssey liberty and primo stiffies from way back.

Eastern is the worst company around for bikes, they are not in it for anything but money, they make crappy parts and the bikes are only good for jo blow down the street who doesnt even no how to hop, they are a joke enough said.

eastern is a great company. look at their riders alone, banton, ramsdell are bad ass. they know what theyre doing and they have a business plan as well. why does a 12 yr beginner proffesional parts on his first bike? did you start on a custom complete? were the first custom parts you bought kinda expensive and wished they were a little cheaper or had more choices? exactly. shut your fucking mouth, go steal some money outta your mom or dads wallet and buy some non “jo blow” parts you fucking idiotbecause not every kid can. know your roots.

eastern was my fucking hero before i got a job. like i had a custom complete with all eastern parts and some odyssey and demolition parts thrown in there too.
yea, they are cheap, but they are worth every cent you pay.
but i will say, they are heavy.
but i still ride an Eastern Reaper 2. and im about to get the harvester. loooks sick.
if eastern has anything going for them, its their frames i would say.

Flaco i feel that. I know my first true bmx street bike was a poverty buck 99. come on now poverty lol. I bent the spindle on those cranks, then a buddy broke the pedal boss off, and i bent the forks till the wheel touched the down tube. So we all gotta start somewhere. eastern has there shit figured out where they target a younger more beginner rider group or a rider on a budget. so dont say they dont know what there doing. And um news flash companies are all in it for the money thats why you still have parts on your bike. Without money you have no parts. So if a company says there not i highly doubt it. Rider owned companies like SandM and standard and fit just use there money to make some of the best parts available. But as you can see those do have a price and not a very low one at that sometimes.

Machining should have been done internally instead of externally. Some people like to put their feet on their pegs you know.

Aluminum pegs should only be used for flat land, those are the dumbest thing i’ve seen since kids grinding on knurled gt aluminum pegs. Aluminum sticks to EVERYTHING. Why do you think no one ever does aluminum rails? Because you get thrown to flat after your pegs sink into the aluminum and lock up…come on
