David Quesada over at Fly was nice enough to send us a little e-mail about Fly’s newest pegs. Thanks David!
“We have two models. chromoly for hard street use and aluminum 7075 for light street and park. Some fly riders like Sergio even use the chromoly one on the rear and the aluminum on the front.
They have a outside machining on the top to reduce weight. This allow us to have a very thick section on the bottom to make them more durable and stiff. Being so thick on the bottom also make them grind faster. The chromoly one has a very thick 2.5mm. section and the aluminum one 3.5mm. section. here are the weights:
Aluminum 7075: 85 grs. ( 2.9 oz.)
Chromoly 4130: 170 grs. ( 5.8 oz.)Chromoly version is available in black only. aluminum 7075 in black, gray, dark red and coffee.
Thanks!
David”
