Mike Aitken Starts Vigilantia Clothing

Just days after walking out of the hospital on his own two, Aitken has starting working on his long-thought-of dream of starting up his own clothing company, Vigilantia. Straight from Mike’s site:

“Mike continues to improve bit by bit each day. He was given tickets to go to a Utah Jazz game last night and enjoyed seeing the game with his wife.

Mike will have his swallowing tested again this Wednesday to see if he can finally start eating solid foods again. He is also very anxious to start his physical therapy again this coming Monday. Mike isn’t one to take a break and continues to work himself at home in the mean time.

For years Mike has wanted to start a clothing company on the side, now that he has a little down time on his hands he’s decided to go ahead and do it. Keep checking in - hats will be available soon!

The story behind Vigilantia:
“Robore et Vigilantia”, meaning “With Strength and Vigilance”, is the Aitken family motto - dating back to the ancient Scottish clan. For Mike, it was an obvious choice when looking for a name for his clothing company. With an eagle symbolizing strength, Vigilantia was born.”
