Yesterday we posted that Specialized dropped Allan Cooke and apparently it looks like they dropped their entire BMX program. We got this short message from Marcus Tooker last night…
“I just wanted to let you know I’m not riding for Specialized anymore. Pretty bummed they dropped their whole BMX program.” - Marcus

Not suprised as they’ve recently signed Sam Hill to their mtb downhill set up. The wages for Hill alone are probably more then the whole budget for the bmx business.

Specialized Bmx as been sliding downhill for a long time, sad to see them go

Specialized was is and will always be a joke in bmx, it was great that some of our bmx brothers could get a pay check from them, but they have never has much interest in bmx.it was just a way for them to sell more bikes, now that bike sales will be down, the frist things they drop will be the things they dont care about. aka bmx.
