Press Release: Join the ARF (Athlete Recovery Fund) group riding in the LA Marathon & win a VIP Package for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas!

The LA Marathon, May 25th, has a separate class for people that would like to ride the course on a bicycle.  Imagine the chance to ride with old school and new school legends through 20 miles of downtown LA without having to worry about cars!  Bring your BMX, fixed gear, ladies ride your beach cruisers or anything on two wheels and ride along with us in a fun way to raise money for ARF!

Go to www.athleterecoveryfund.com for entry forms as well as pledge forms.  You can use these pledge forms to get donations from everyone you know!  Include your family members, co workers and friends or sponsors, whomever!  The person that raises the most money in pledges and donations will win the Grand Prize VIP Package of a two nights stay in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, entry to the night club “Wasted Space”, spa package at “Rock Spa” and dinner at their new steak house opening mid April, called “Rare 120”!

This event has been inspired by Xavier Mendez and a crew of OG BMXer’s.  Already confirmed legends of BMX are Brian Blyther, Mike Dominguez, Eddie Fiola, Woody Itson, John Povah and Dave Voelker.  Simon Tabron has also committed to this Bike Tour as long as Voelker and Blyther both will ride a wheelie at least a mile without dropping their front wheels.  This ride will be anything but a casual stroll through the streets of LA.  Expect some sick rock walks, hang fives, manuals and good times!

Go to www.athleterecoveryfund.com for all the details.  First round of entries must be received by March 26th in order to have ARF printed on your event bib!  Late entries will be accepted until May 1st.  Sign up and start collecting pledges ASAP for your chance at the Grand Prize!

Company sponsors are encouraged to inquire by email at aaron@athleterecoveryfund.com.  Sponsorship packages are available for $1,500.00 and will include logos on ARF event t-shirt, future press materials and fliers, as well as the ARF website.
