wait for all the “old school” bmx’ers to hear about this… they will start going on about “back in the day” when everyone had a fat seat and 2 brakes, they need to stop living in the past and realise how good ideas like this actually are just the same as slammed seats, big bars and no brakes. good work cardinal, keep it up

without a doubt the dumbestttt and most uselesssss thing in the world. and thats not coming from an old bmx rider. that is just dumb. no need to re-invent the wheel. you like a slammed wheel slam it in your dropout….

not saying i’m against this frame at all, i actually kinda like it, but you sir are a ra tard.
since you are obviously new to this sport, i will inform you that your slammed seat, big bars, and brakeless bike set up is just a trend. as much as you’d like to think that it helps you, i’ll let you know that 10 yrs ago people were thinking the same thing when they had small bars and high seats.

Don’t be afraid of change. Just coz something looks a little different doesn’t make it bad. A lot of thought went into this & testing has proved to be amazing. It obviously functions real well. Look at the elementary stem for example. It’ll only be a matter of time until others get onboard & start doing this. I feel the slots could be angled back a little more & not so straight up to accommodate for chain stretch or size issues, but. As far as I’m concerned, I’d far rather have this set up than battle a slammed wheel & the chain removal issues that entails.

well its not just a trend… i like big bars because its just more comfortable to me, and i like being brakeless because its making me ride a lot better because i have to make everything clean and it makes me learn how to judge my speed

they had to make a how to video on that…
come on, my 5 year old neice could figure that out, wtf?
August 13th, 2009 at 3:50 pm
kevin you must be soo rad! I didnt know you couldnt make anything look clean unless you did it without brakes! You and your speed BS is proof that, atleast to you, its a fad. oh did you see that new web vid of garret reynolds? he loosend his seat and is now pulling seat spin tabogans, I bet the bike spin is coming soon. I bet it also helps judge the angle of how and when to place his ass! SO MUCH CONTROL!!

that would be a be better for the chain

the drops are slightly angled, so you can play with the taughtness a little. it seems cool but also seems like it might be hard to get it perfectly straight so you dont have to readjust your breaks every time.

They made the video because of haters..

all you have to do is take a few links out if its too big, and most chains come wayyy over sized, plus the half link chains make taking links out easier because you can take links out one at a time opposed to normal chains which you have to take two out or it won’t work.
August 17th, 2009 at 12:12 pm
seriously? people needed a how to video? even the guy who did it was like “you fucking kidding me? we really making a how to right now? about this??”
wow…k. well. confused where there needed to be a how to video. its pretty basic. get your chain dialed and wa la.
cockring.

LOL
August 19th, 2009 at 3:13 pm
its pretty cool but i dont understand why the didnt have the drop-outs so that you could just drop the wheel into it. and if it gets loose its just gunna fall out the dropouts isnt it? i wouldve made it so you put the wheel in from above.

then your frame would either brake or slip just when you sit on it. This is a street designs frame not a park or dirt or vert. It is designed to be taken to flat.
August 23rd, 2009 at 10:48 am
take another link out… or just let it smack against your chainstay
August 28th, 2009 at 2:28 am
I think this frame is pretty tight
and FUCK HATERS no need for the vid
August 30th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
whats the name of the frame who makes it
September 7th, 2009 at 4:48 pm
so to tighten my chain i would have to take links out?
September 11th, 2009 at 11:48 am

noone reeinvented the wheel… its still round. the dropouts changed though, kinda nifty too. near verticle so that shen wieght is applied it makes your wheel straight and puts the correct tension on your chain. as far as people complaining about chains too loose or tight, its been designed to work well with a bunch of different common ratios. oh, but ur half link will still stretch… but isnt that because you bought a shiity chain? yup, sure is. you and the rest of the idiots hatin on whatever isnt currently endorsed by the flavor of the week should stay in the woods, bmx doesnt need you.

i lik the traditional dropouts and at least for me, i see no reason to change:)
