G-Sport just put out their new aluminum tapered nipples. Normally nipples are made of brass but for those of you who are worried about your nipples weighing down your bike (which is ridiculous), G-Sport has made these guys out of Aluminum and because these guys are a tapered hexagonal shape, their going to give you a special key for them too. I’ve done enough explaining now its time for you to head on over the Odyssey’s Website to get all the information about these Nipples.
» Proprietary taper nipple and key interface simplifies wheel building and maintenance.
» 7075-T6 aluminum.
» Black, Gold, Silver and Red various anodized.

Ever stripped a spoke head? It kinda sucks… This is more of a solution for stripping, with the added bonus of saving a sliver of weight.
But, if you’re wondering, you should probably go the skatepark and just start pointing fingers. Everyone has their dirty little weight savings secret.

I got alloy nipples because they were available in acid green on danscomp, theyre really easy to strip beyond use.
