Press Release:
Here is a new brake mount system that we have been working on. It“s called SBS (Spanish Brake System).
We wanted to design a system where you can put on and remove your brakes quicky and easy. ForĀ brakeless riders, you might get to a spot like the trails or a street spot where you need brakes so you can put them on without the hassle. If you ride with brakes and feel like riding without them, you can also remove them fast. Putting on and removing them takes even less than one minute.
They will be on some of our new frames at the end of year.
Here is a video of Sergio Layos explaining about how it works. Hope you like the idea!

That`s a cool idea. I don`t ride brakeless but I might be inclined to pull them off once in a while if it was quick and easy.

Seems perfect for some one like me who rides 90% brakeless sttreet and 10% trails.
Let me tell you brakeless trails are scary.

That’s cool shit but you don’t give any flying fuck if you ride with brake and you have a normal frame

very innovative. excellent idea. now, where’s the set-up with a headset and bottom bracket with interchangeable bearings?

That was pretty cool. Jack seems to be a little confused- maybe someone can explain to him what is really going on. I like this system- I ride brakeless, but I would love to add a set in those tight spots (ie trails). Sweet!
