Alienation just dropped us a line to introduce their new Slider Pivotal seat that has all the features you love of the original Pivotal system, but with the new option to move the seat backwards and forwards for more of a custom fit to your style. What do you think about this new idea? Let us know in the comments!

Here’s the specifics:
· This Slider Pivotal system is Exclusive to Alienation.
· Basing the movement on a standard Pivotal seat, The Slider Seat can move 5mm forward & 20mm backwards.
· The Slider seat base is 210mm long & 110mm wide.
· Weighs slightly less than a standard Pivotal seat.
· 100% compatible with all Pivotal seat posts.

Alienation BMX will be showing the Slider seats, and their new color-ways at Interbike. More photos and info to come.

  • jonny h Says:

i ride rail seats… they also slide

  • nick Says:

wouldnt just a regular rail seat be lighter than this pivotal with rails?
and i thought that the pivotal was made to get rid of the rails…

  • Gus Says:

    There are no rails!

This is the best solution so far for people who want to run the pivitol system who also want an adjustable seating position which includes lenght.
If you ride for any distance on you bike from time to time you will want to sit.
This adjustment is not a passing fad or trend like slamming your seat, it is a design concept with a purpose that could be an answer to a modern design problem with the pivitol system.

there arnt any rails…. did u even look at the picture? it just has a pivotal style toothed base so u can change the position of the actaul pivotal base to were you like.
