Modifications/Other/Extras:
I cut my steer tube down so I can slam my stem. I also run 14mm 3/8” bolts front and back so I can use the same size wrench/socket for both wheels.

No pegs or brakes?
I haven’t run pegs for quite some time, I feel too goofy-footed with them on, they just mess with my head—but I still put them on and off once in awhile. One day they’ll be back for good. I took my brakes off awhile go because I got a black rim and they didn’t work worth sh-t so they came flying off and I haven’t missed them since.

You run your bars a little more forward than most riders, why?
It makes my bike feel a bit longer and I swear it’s easier on the wrists since they’re not bent down as much.

How would you describe your bike, dialed, disaster, depends on how lazy you are?
I would describe my bike as black as hell, lighter than dry cat sh-t, and dialed as hell—because if my bike is riding like sh-t, then so am I.

Which part of your bike do you dread working on the most?
Chains and truing wheels… oh, and headsets. I hate getting all greasy and not having anywhere to wash my hands.

A master link though? Come on man! Those things are garbage!

  • jordan Says:

think about what you just said. a master link is way stronger. would you rather hold your chain together with one pin or a solid plate with two pins

  • thebrick Says:

I’ve broke twice as many masterlink chains than half-link interlock chains. Fuck those things.

  • Bmx is gay Says:

  • tyler simons Says:

dude. if you hate master links then you dont work on your own bike. master links make it soo much easier. i just got a chain without one and its a pain in the ass. masterlinks for the win.

  • Live in the Woods Says:

masterlink is weaker but how did nobody say anything about a 3/8 rear dropout??

  • lulzwhat Says:

Get a chain tool, throw out the master link.

3/8th Axle not a problem with no pegs. With peg = oh noes.
