Modifications/Other/Extras: I just got new wheels that 5050 built for me along with some purple parts so my bike got a big makeover this week. I changed the original blue Envy stickers and color scheme to the purple. Couldn’t help it, I just love purple!

Which parts do you go through the most?
Nothing really, just grips. I like them to not feel too warn down so I change them a lot. Maybe tubes!

Describe your bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
Really simple, smooth, and fast with 120psi in the tires. I just like it to feel solid and super fast for vert. I’m really fussy about it running smoothly and not making rattling noises or anything! I want to be stoked every time I look at my bike—it always makes me want to ride it.

What part are you most particular about or do you feel makes the biggest difference on your bike?
The bars. I can’t deal with it if bars are too big or too wide.

Do you remember your first “real” BMX bike?
The first cool bike I had, that I was truly proud of, was a Haro Sport in 1987!

Do you think about or plan out the overall look and colors of your bike before you build them up?
Definitely.

Why only one peg?

I haven’t run pegs in years and I just put one on for fun to do some icepick grinds. Sometimes I’ll just put one on the front for a couple of days. I like limiting my bike to try and be a bit more imaginative with my riding. It would freak me out to put four pegs and brakes on my bike!

Are you particular about tire pressure?
Yep, always at least 120psi for vert, and then I just normally leave the same pressure in for street and parks.

“Can I say a big thank you to Eddie at 5050 for my amazing new wheels and all the other stuff he just gave me and to Wethepeople for making my bike so damned cool!” - Simon
