Modifications/Other/Extras:
Are brakes a modification these days? Hahaha. Tther than that; none.
Which parts do you go through the most?
Chains and tubes. The most annoying things to work on…
Describe your bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
My bike setup is pretty standard, big bars and a small seat. Like everyone, I like my bike to be solid—no noise.
Do you remember your first “real” BMX bike?
Haha yeah, it was a Powerlite. That thing took some good abuse. Went through 3/8th axles like nothing.
How did you manage to rig up your “bike rack” on the back of your scooter?
I basically bought my scooter and then my friend Mark Denapoli and I started the project. Mark works at a metal shop so we basically welded a rod out the rear of the scooter to hold the seat in place. After that we welded a couple of hooks off the rack of the scooter to hold the bars. That’s it—a couple straps on the bars and its good to go.
