Jared Washington and Mike Brennan are two guys from different areas of New Jersey who ride together a lot.It’s a comedic experience when those two are together, cracking jokes and egging each other on. We asked them a few questions about what it’s like to ride with each other.

Describe the first time you guys met.
Jared: I can’t even remember… Probably some time I was riding around New York city or at the Hackettstown park in New Jersey.
Mike: A handful of years back, I think I went to ride New Brunswick with my friend Dustin, he knew Jared and the rest of the Rodeo Peanut crew before I did.

Who usually calls who?
Jared: We usually just IM each other if we wanna ride—tryin’ keep the phone bill low. You know?
Mike: It depends; I’d say it’s about 50/50. Last summer I was in New Brunswick all the time. I just call and meet up with every one.

How often do you guys ride together?
Jared: Depends… Sometimes he’ll come down to New Brunswick and sleep out here for a week. But usually like once a week, but maybe more.
Mike: More often in the summer, otherwise a couple times a month. When it’s warmer usually a couple times a week.

Who talks more shit?
Jared: I hold the crown.
Mike: I usually start it, but we both talk a lot of shit. It’s funny and we usually do it to get the other person to do something.

How much do you guys push each other to do stuff?
Jared: He’s always telling me to “OD, but I don’t. I’m always telling him the same thing because he can do crazy shit, and so I can see it go down—he usually does it, too.
Mike: We seem to get a lot done when we’re riding together and trying to do stuff. If we’re cruising we just chill. When the camera comes out we usually push each other to do stuff. I usually give in easy, but Jared needs a little more shit talking some times. Jared is a lot better than a lot of people think. He chills all the time, but when it comes down to it he’s got a lot more skills and talent then a lot of riders out there. Just wait, you’ll see.

Who falls more often?
Jared: I fall a lot, definitely me. If he falls, he falls hard, though. I just roll around a lot.
Mike: On the regular it would be me. I fall a lot—pretty much every time I ride. Although, when we’re filming stuff Jared catches up.

What is something not many people know about Mike?
Jared: He can’t eat anything spicier than pepperoni, and he’s also the lead singer of the band Nickelback.

What is something not many people know about Jared?
Mike: Jared always smiles, even when he’s mad. He could want to kill you and he will still have a giant smile on his face. It’s pretty funny.

Describe a typical day when you guys are together.
Jared: Just riding, shit talking, filming, and watching him complain about how his bread is too spicy or something.
Mike: Usually talk shit and bullshit for a while, get some food, then attempt to cruise around. Jared will usually do something crazy or weird like a suicide-barspin-tailtap. Then I will try to OD on something and fall.

What’s the most annoying thing about Mike?
Jared: “O.D son.

What’s the most annoying thing about Jared?
Mike: He thinks his wack V-Dub is awesome.

What’s the last impressive thing you saw him do on his bike?
Jared: Pretty much everything. All of the stuff that went down on our Cali trip.
Mike: We were at the Santa Ana Civic Center in Cali… I don’t want to spoil the footy.
