Got off the plane, jumped on a train, paid for a cab, then pedaled my bike to the last full day of practice at the Red Bull Stomping Grounds. I showed up with about an hour left of daylight/dry ground, so I only managed to snap a few images and strap this fancy little Epic HD camera to Chris Doyle and Dennis Enarson’s bike to give you a quick taste of what the course looks like from the bottom of a peg (hah). Look for a full prelims video and a riding gallery tomorrow night.
Video is at the bottom…
Dudes all lined up to give &
Seth Klinger with a 360 degree rotation with an extreme bicycle layover for added difficulty.
Brandon Dosch rotates his bicycle 360 degrees of pure rotation.
Colton Satterfield 360 degree rotation while the bike does an additional 360 degree rotation without the bike rider who happens to be named Colton Satterfield.
Adam Aloise 360 degree rotation while the bike does an additional 360 degree rotation without the bike rider who happens to be named Colton...Adam Aloise.
Ryan Nyquist takes both feet off his bike and kicks them to the left before putting them back on again.
TJ Ellis does a vertical 360 degree rotation...this makes him upside down.
Gary Young, 360 rotation extreme bicycle layover with an extra bar turn because he knows Vic Murphy.
Gloomy day with clouds and skies and logos and pallets.
Fuzzy has definitely been working hard, not hardly working.
Storms-a-comin'... Time to tarp 'em. Jay Bone comes in with the assist.
Decent overview shot while they type and Fuzzy waves to Dino Deluca.
Big Daddy eyes up the step down. I bet he could fit his Ferrari kit car in there.
Taxi-cab confessions of a dirt jump.
I bet you a thousand dollars that tomorrow I'll shoot this exact same photo but with someone doing a trick on a BMX bike framed up in it.
Bottom of the hill lies the container wallride.
