Modifications/Other/Extras:
I cut my lever down to a nub so it doesn’t get in the way for turndowns. I cut all my axels down to the bolts because it looks a lot cleaner. I am running an older pair of Pitchforks. The forks are heavier then the ones that you can buy now. The reason for this is weight for double barspin tricks. I don’t run pegs anymore, so I wanted a little more weight up front. Weight makes them spin faster on big jumps. I also have some custom Spanish graffiti thanks to Sergio [Layos].

I saw that you are riding a Kink frame now, how’s the new ride feel?
It feels really good! It looks a little beat up in the photos, but I have been riding it for about seven months now, and trails never help a bike look clean.

What is the oldest part on your bike?
Barends: I think I have had them for ten years now. Everyone should run barends—they can really save you!

Explain your method for why you stopped running a gyro.
It is more fun! With a cable I’m always winding and un-winding, due to different barspin and tailwip tricks.

While we were on the dirt trip filming for Range Of Motion Sergio Layos told you he didn’t like your stem, he said it was “big and ugly” or something like that, he do you feel about that?
I guess I could agree in some ways, but another part of me thinks that stem is sweet. I don’t care, I like how he always has opinions on bike parts.

Speaking about the trip, how did it feel to get out of the woods of Northern Arizona?
It was good. I missed two weeks of rain on the trip so it was perfect timing. Thanks to everyone on the trip, it was a treat!

Did you pick up any ideas to apply to your trails back home?
No. I am a one-man army, so there is only so much I can do. I am fine with what I have. If I want better I have to fly back to Pennsylvania.
