Our next Pro Q&A volunteer is the ever-growing Sean Ricany. At the barely-legal-to-drive age of 16, Sean has been riding for 11 years, been sponsored by Premium Products for over eight years, and has been a bonafide professional rider for almost two years. Sean also happens to be one of my favorite teenagers on the planet, since he’s able to roll with the punches with any crew in any city in across the globe. Please do your best (or worst) by berating Sean with your questions—get all his secrets and inner-most thoughts. And please, let’s keep the “how did you get so good so young?!?” questions to a minimum.
[Edit] Here’s some hints for ya: Growing up in proximity to both Garrett Reynolds and Scotty Cranmer, having freckles, riding for Red Bull, having Colin McKay as a team manager, being four feet shorter than Josh Harrington, that Woodward Camp show that he’s on, Twitter/tweeting/tweaking, and most importantly, ask him why he always posts photos of big girls from his school eating at lunch on his Instagram.
Leave comments below, of if you’re Facebook-impaired (good for you), feel free to e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All questions will be sent to Sean and the best of the question/answer combos will be printed in the September 2012 issue of Ride.
