You may consider Matthias Dandois to be a flat rider, but he doesn’t, because as he put it, “I don’t ride flatland anymore, I ride BMX.” From his bike setup, to how and where he rides, Matthias’ combination of flatland and street is a topic all on it’s own. But don’t get me wrong, he still tears it up on the flat and who knows what he’s been coming up with during the Parisian winter at his indoor spot—so feel free to ask him about that too. He also left A Bad Thing (the frame company he helped start and co-owned) to ride for Superb and he rides for Odyssey’s Flatware brand, as well. Off the bike he’s the life of the party, and living in Paris, well, it’s not hard to find a party there. You can throw whatever you want at Matthias and he’ll answer it, so don’t hold back.

Normal disclaimer: I know you think your “sprayfart69″ nickname is funny, but in the least a first name and last initial are required. Or, if you want to get personal, send an e-mail to jeff.zielinski@transworld.net.

All questions will be sent to Matthias and the best of the question/answer combos will be printed in the July 2012 issue of Ride.
