Frame: United Trinity
Fork: Snafu Butt Fork
Bars: S&M Berringer XLT
Stem: Snafu Captain Stem
Grips: ODI Longnecks (With doughnuts.)
Barends: SNAFU PC Bar Ends (They’re freaking sweet!)
Headset: Kink Titanium Headset
Seatpost: SNAFU J-Bar Seatpost
Seat: SNAFU Love Seat (The one with the sweet beach scene!)
Cranks: SNAFU Mayweather, 175mm (Right now I’m on some old DK cranks that Brett Walker had until I get new ones.)
Sprocket: SNAFU Ola Sprocket
Chain: Shadow Half Link
Front Tire: Maxxis “Holy Roller 20″ x 2.10″ (Again, I had a blow out so I’m running a different one while waiting for new tires to get to my house.)
Front Wheel: SNAFU Light Front Hub/wheel
Rear Tire: Maxxis Grifter 20″ x 1.95″
Rear Wheel: SNAFU Stout Cassette/wheel (Blew my back wheel up a few weeks ago, so right now I’m on a G-Sport Rachet Hub with a Hazard Light rim)
Pedals: SNAFU Anorexic Pedals
Hub Guard: Mutiny Hub Buddy (But right now I need one!)
Pegs: SNAFU Hexagon Pegs
Modifications/Other/Extras:
I cut about a half inch off ether side of the bars, throw some ODI donuts on the grips, chop the axles off at the nut so it’s all nice and smooth, cut my seatpost off right at the top tube, and to top it off I hit the whole bike with a few coats of Olive Drab Camo spray paint from good ol’ WallyWorld!
Which parts do you go through the most?
Tubes, tires, seats, then cranks… If I have a really hard landing, I’ll check the arms to see if they’re bent and just swap them out if they look bad. Breaking crank arms is no fun, but I seem to know how to do it! After that would be wheels and rims.
Describe your bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
Solid! I like my bike not to make any noise when you pick it up and drop it on the tires. I’ve started to enjoy the whole lightweight and bigger bars thing too, but not too big! Haha.
What part are you most particular about or do you feel makes the biggest difference on your bike?
The handlebars. That’s always the first thing I notice when I get on someone else’s bike. I really like the way Matt’s bars feel, so…bars.
Do you remember your first “real” BMX bike?
It was a Schwinn Jay Miron Powermatic, all chromed out! Mmmmm…
Since leaving Mutiny earlier this year, why did you decide to ride a United frame now?
I’ve always liked United, and Corey Martinez’s bike setup. Ian Morris hooked it up and flowed me a frame so I’d have something new to scoot around. I’m psyched! I really just wanted to try something new since Mutiny was over, and I’m glad to give my support to T-Nez and United in the frame area!
What was it like riding the Orlando Dew Tour brakeless? Why did you take the stoppers off at the last contest of the year?
The only reason I didn’t have brakes at the Dew Tour is because I lost all the tabs and mounts that came with the frame! I went to put them on the day before I left and couldn’t find the parts… Still can’t actually… But I didn’t have much of a choice, so I just went with it! Honestly, I showed up in Orlando not really knowing what to expect. I rode Simpel Session brakeless back at the start of the year, but that course was more street than it was transition. I’d never ridden dirt brakeless though, so that was a new adventure for me. In both park and dirt, I really couldn’t tell any difference… It was a lot of fun and I pretty much felt like I rode the same as with brakes. At least three people came up to me after the contest and told me not to put them back on because they liked the way I rode without them better. They may not go back on… I haven’t decided yet!

Snafu’s new stuff is really good, I’m just really hard on parts! I don’t know if you guys have noticed, but I don’t always land where i’m suppose to! =P Parts break! In the words of Jay Miron, “You gotta pay the toll to Rock n Roll”!

Sick bike.
And the brakes thing, even if you don't really use them, they help. Especially with little kids at the park and looping out.
And I've ridden quite a few snafu parts, and I haven't had a problem with any of them.
