What’s with the rim on the screen that looks rather like a Ribcage right next to a piece of a rim and a micrometer that also looks rather like a Ribcage?

Just noticed the rimstrip right by the section of rim. Still doesn’t explain why there’s only a section and not just a complete rim though…
