Why are your forks better than others, or what makes them different from others on the market?
“While the Director Fork may look different from what you are used to, the geometry and feel are an identical match with traditional forks. The axle is in the same position as it would be with a ‘normal’ fork design. The Director’s differences lie in the use of new construction techniques, putting this fork in a league of its own. The steerer tube is connected to the legs by using a joint design that is a substantial improvement over ordinary tubular crown forks.
The legs have been angled forward so the hollow dropouts can blend smoothly into the leg tubing, while also maintaining a “traditional” axle position. By running the legs “directly” from where the load is applied (at the steerer tube), to where it is reacted against (at the wheel axle), the mechanical efficiency has been maximized in this structure. The end result is improved performance and durability.
The dropouts are formed from the leg itself, rather than being a basic welded on plate that is left to “flap in the breeze” like on a conventional fork. This design, combined with a 10mm thickness, makes bent dropouts a thing of the past. The hollow dropouts are not only dramatically stronger, they are lighter too. don’t buy colony products.there is no warranty they claim cause i painted my forks that i somehow damaged the product.is that why my dropout on my fork broke.i’ve painted every pair of forks i’ve ever owned and they never broke the dropout.there a foreign company if you are not from australia tough luck.i want to add that i had my local bike shop try to get a refund.they said the same lame excuse and the bike shop said they had

Kind of funny I was just looking to buy some new forks too haha. Damn I was hoping they would look at the Eastern Hawkeye forks… I was thinking about picking up some of those. I would pick up the Fly Pantera forks but I can’t seem to find them in 14mm axle size… anyone know if they even make them with 14mm drop outs??

eastern forks are bad also, idk about the new breed they came out with. but the nitrous forks i had bent in 3 days when i 180′d a 5 stair… i called the bike shop i called it from and they told me that “your not suppost to tricks like that” so i freaked out and called eastern and they sent me the same pair.
the drop outs bent when i did a smith on really waxed ledge, and i went on it smooth, its not like i slamed front heavy or anything
but my friend i ride with has Sunday Morning Forks and says there really solid and amazing for street riding, so im just going to put that out there

Don’t buy KHE Cirrus forks, they suck, didn’t last a month. Buy Odyssey or S&M, best things ever.

most of eastern products suck, i had one of there forks it snapped in half while i was landing a 360 on dirt. Their pedal spindle broke on me, handlebars bent to shit. what else wrong can happen with their parts

Completely agree. I don’t trust eastern at all! after two months of light riding i had to replace the driver in my hub, I snaped my medusa sprocket, know a million people who have bent their frames, bent a pair of ultra lite bars. only decent eastern parts are the pedals, but those will tear your legs to shreds. i got the director fork and LOVE IT!
Odyssey is hands down my favorite brand, I love their rims, pedals, forks, hubs, bars, pretty much anything really. I cracked a pair of iPedals but that was after like 6 months of riding.
