How often do you build up a new bike?
Whenever my sponsors send me a new one.
[Laughter] Okay, so do you keep your bike dialed? Or do you just let the spokes get loose, chain rattle, et cetera?
I try to keep it new, but eventually all that happens.
How much pressure do you run in your tires?
45 front, 65 rear—it’s just a way smoother ride.
Tall bars are all-the craze right now, but you still seem to run your bars pretty low for today’s standards. Any specific reason?
I don’t feel like I can hop as high with tall bars.
Riding wise, what have you been working on? When are we going to see another full length Andrew Jackson section?
I’m always riding and filming. I have some stuff for GSport I’ve been filming for and I’m also working on a web edit for Wethepeople.
How’s the downtown LA scene been treating you lately? Who have you been riding with lately?
It’s pretty small. Not very many people ride downtown, but I like it. I mostly ride with Raul Ruiz and all my friends from Koreatown.
