I have always been a Mirra Fan, I am older than most Bmx’ers out there. Why does he always wear hats that are too big? Garret is a beast, but I am guessing this park contest favored the Box Jump riders?
Congrats Dave

dave has always had such an unfair advantage from judges. he is one of the best but still. I have a really true point.

Obviously Didn’t Favour The Box Riders, Or Spinner Wouldn’t Have Been Last
June 28th, 2009 at 5:25 am
No i agree with Mike, Spinner came last because he couldnt stick a trick and got flattys in both runs half way through.
June 28th, 2009 at 5:28 am
Yeh i agree, his run was good but was no way worthy of bein in the 93’s, no one else would have recieved the same score for the same run, garrett deserved to win.
June 28th, 2009 at 6:37 am
Yeh But Don’t Forget Dhers And Nyquist Are Pretty Good On Box Jumps And Both Did Badly
June 28th, 2009 at 8:23 am
yeah garrett!!
June 28th, 2009 at 10:32 am
If garrett had done a 450 double bar on one of the hips instead of a tailwhip he probably would have won.
June 28th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
YEAH MARCUS!!!
June 28th, 2009 at 3:59 pm
Why is dave mirra so skinny, what happenmed to him, whered all the muscle go?
June 28th, 2009 at 4:45 pm
Dave is still a force to be reckoned with! Good job!

THE TV COVERAGE WAS A JOKE. I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW LITTLE RIDING WAS SHOWN. IF THEY ARE GOING TO FILL THE WHOLE HOUR WITH STUPID DEW TOUR UNDERGROUND BULLSHIT AND GAY ASS MIKE SPINNER COMERCIALS THEN THEY SHOULD AT LEAST SQUEDULE 2 HOURS FOR THE SHOW. 1 MUST SAY THAT THE ONLY UPSIDE TO THE MEDIA BULLSHIT IS BESWICK AS ONE OF THE ANOUNCERS, HE DOES A GOOD JOB.
June 29th, 2009 at 10:44 am
Dave Mirra is winning agian in park yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Never in the history of Freestyle BMX did someone get hosed more than Mark Webb did. 6th place? Are you kidding me? Dude did like 4 original moves (I realize original moves are frowned upon on Dew Tour but still) and then busted 900s, barrel rolls, decade up the step up - are you entering me backside????? Dude is sick. Even though his web drops freak me out a bit (he’s like Edward ScissorHands on steroids), the dude is freaking rad. I love Mirra and McCann but in the name of Craig Grasso’s dong, give Webb some love.
YO BMX Todd, I agree that Bestwick does a great job, EXCEPT for the British accent. For some reason hearing British accents makes me want to walk up to strangers and Donkey punch them. As for Nyquist, much love but he needs to stay on one side of the mic only, that would be IN FRONT of it.
And what happened to Anthony Nopolitan? He was like the second coming three years ago and now the dude gets about as much coverage these days as Fred Blood doing Power Mowers on an SE Quad with removable tob tube frame stander. Was there ever a more whack trick than the power mower? Unless Dizz Hicks is doing it on a kick turn ramp, that trick needs to be at the bottom of a landfill somewhere in NJ.
Dew tour needs to start docking points for tailwhips. If Spinner does a quad, he’s already at -40 if it was up to me.
Last, Josh Hult is so sick he should start naming some of those moves after diseases. “Hult just did a N1H1 to N1H1 back!!!” and “Whoa, Josh just dealt a double IBS on the last set”
Congrats on the win dude.

uh, Hult won because of tailwhips. your judging is just a little conflicted…
June 30th, 2009 at 11:15 am
Garrett should have won! mirra only won because of his unfair advantage with the judges
