New BMX Movie In The Works: Accelerate

Blue Trail Entertainment is currently in pre-production on a full-length feature film called Accelerate. It’s being produced by two riders, each with over 20 years in the sport - Eric Bugbee and Dave King, both of the Catty Woods Trails.
Accelerate is a fictional story based on the sport of BMX riding, and is not a typical riding video - it’ll be a full blown movie for the big screen.
It’s going to be filmed at legendary Pennsylvania trails, street in NYC and Philly, and will contain the some of the best riders on the planet (if they could be containable) - not to mention some big name film and TV actors as well.
All rider roles will be played by riders - NOT an actor with a stunt double. We’re doin’ this right. This is an indie film with strong roots in the sport. Rad was rad for the ‘80s, but this is something very different for a new generation. For more info on the story go to accelerate-themovie.com
Some of the guys already on board are: Scotty Cranmer, Van Homan, Garrett Byrnes, Fuzzy Hall, Matt Beringer, Garrett Reynolds, Chris Doyle, Morgan Wade, Joe Rich and Joel Moody – as well as a host of Catty and Posh locals.
Jack Black won’t be in this film (well, not at this point…but we may still get him). Nevertheless, we have the next best character in the world – Steve Crandal. That’s right. He’ll be livin’ large on the big screen in a role fitting for JB, and we all can’t wait to see that! Also, Kevin Robinson has expressed interest in playing a sweet meathead role.
A lot of smack talk has already been going on over the leading-man role in the film – apparently Doyle thinks he has what it takes to overcome Moody. We shall see. Let it be known that casting is still open for this role.
