Describe the tattoos you have, specifically the ones you’ve given yourself.
These days it seems like I have been getting quite a few about once a week. I only gave myself one so far and that is a “came up” on my left forearm. I have “makeshift” all the way down my right forearm. I have a “Kool” tattoo on the back of my left arm, you know like the cigarettes cause that’s the only kind of cigs I smoke. I have the Seattle skyline on my left wrist. I have a portrait of my dad on my right shoulder and a portrait of my mom on my left shoulder. I have a cigarette on my leg, and last but not least, I have “Hoder” on my back with a big ass number 1 underneath it.
What made you want to permanently mark yourself in the first place?
You have skin on your body for many reasons and one of them is for tattoos. I just have lots of unique ones.
Were you into drawing and stuff as a kid?
I have been drawing my whole life. I love that shit. My mom’s an artist, so I think I get it from her.
Do you own your own tattoo gun? Why’d you decide to get it and was it hard to learn how to use?
Yes, I own my own tattoo gun and the reason I got it was to learn how to start doing tats. And i got it for a great deal. And yes, it’s pretty hard to use, but I got it down now.
How did you learn, what did you practice on, etc?
Well, I first did it on myself and that was the starter for me to learn and then I just started doing it on friends a lot. So far everyone is pretty happy with what I’ve done.
Besides yourself, who have you given tattoos to?
Davey Watson, this kid Snowman and Woof from the block, another kid Eob, and this other kid Drew.
Who would you like to give a ttattoo to?
Anyone that wants one. And anyone that has like 10 or 20 bucks to give me.
What will your next one be (on yourself)?
I am actually in the process of getting an entire jersey tattooed on my back.
Any plans to make a career out of laying down the ink?
Maybe someday but for now its just for fun and practice.
How would you rate yourself as a tattoo artist?
A perfect 10.
