After taking a break from contests for a while, Martti Kuoppa took first in Pro flatland at the CFB contest in Raleigh, NC today. Martti hasn’t competed since the King Of Concrete contest in Europe last year, where he took second place, and was pretty nervous before his runs. We asked him what his best trick of the contest was and he told us that it was the “steamroller to kickflip to crack-packer.” Martti also wanted to let everyone know that he is now sponsored by an art gallery.
Andrew Faris had qualified in first place but his run seemed to fall apart during finals and he ended up in seventh place. The same thing happened to Trevor Meyer who had good qualifying runs but couldn’t put it all together during finals.
