The Vigor 1080 helmet has an incredibly low price of only $19.95. The 1080 is made with a high density polyethylene hard shell and has a shock absorbing EPS (extended polystyrene) core. EPS is used in single-impact helmets because it can cushion a blow better than normal foam can. This helmet is rated for one-time use so the first time you take a bad blow to the head you should replace the 1080 with a new one. This helmet is great for dirt jumping and skatepark use. The 1080 is available in small, medium, and large and comes in red, blue, white, black, and green.
The Vigor G2 full-face helmet is made with a high-impact, lightweight fiberglass shell and has a decent amount of ventilation so your head doesn’t get too hot while you ride. I broke my face a few years ago and bought one of these as soon as I was able to ride again. It’s worked pretty well for me so far. The G2 is good for ramp use as well as for BMX racing. Suggested retail price on the Virgor G2 is $109.99 and it is available in adult XS-XL. It is also available in a youth size by the name of the G4. Both are available in a wide variety of colors and graphics.
The Vigor Contender is a highly ventilated and lightweight full-face race helmet. It is constructed using FRP fiberglass to make it as light as possible while remaining strong enough to protect your brain. The Contender is available in silver, red, blue, and black in XS-L sizes. Suggested retail is $69.99.
