I’m a big fan of shots like this. Losey captures T.J. throwing a nothing in the dusk. Photo:Losey
Specialized has been busy designing T.J. Lavin’s shoe for quite some time and now the shoes are ready to be released to authorized Specialized dealers. “Specialized has been working on the shoes for two years and it never worked out, but it’s ready now and it rides really well,” said T.J. during a short phone conversation.
The shoes are constructed of synthetic nubuck and an abrasion resistant mesh, and there is an airbag in the heel for cushioning. Specialized also designed a tread pattern specifically to work with platform pedals. The T.J. shoes are available in black only and are available in sizes 2.5 through 12. If you want to see a pair in person stop by your local Specialized dealer.
