Today was vert prelims and finals so there was a ton of action that went down on the big ramp here in Chicago’s Grant Park. Only seven of these 17 riders made it to finals so everyone had to lay down their biggest tricks. Lots of hot moves in this video, so check this out until we can get up some footage of the finals!

well as usual , the only video you can see is that damn gatorade comercial….dont get me wrong mark and nigel are cool . but show the real video , you guys need to get your links straight..

Just WATCHING Kagy’s wipeout made me piss blood. I thought Mirra was riding vert this year? What happened to that? Someone needs to challange Bestsick. Vert’s getting ridiculous. I mean, other than Kagy, the rest of the vert world has about as much chance of beating Bestwick as I do double teaming Megan Fox and Jessica Alba.
Props to DMC, the living freaking legend. DUde’s doing 900s at 42 when guys half his age piss their pants and run for Mommy at the mere thought of it. All things considered, pound for pound, DMC is the greatest of all time. DMC did flatland tricks in 88 that Kevin Jones was and still is bewildered by. Keep going D!!!!!!!!!!!

yo jam masta j, i’d say that McCann is pretty damn godo at vert too and is up there with jamie and chad.
now, not that i want to take anything away from bestwick, but imo he didn’t deserve to win this time. i saw his winning run on the allisports site and i mean like, it just wasn’t thaaat good you know. i know he can do a lot more and stuff.. yeah he goes like suuuuper high, but still.. he shouldn’t have won this time. if it would have been up to me i would have given it to McCann..

Not only was Zack okay, he came back and did his second run. He was killing it when he lost his rear wheel with seconds to go. He then walked over to where my wife, myself and my two sons were standing and GAVE MY SON HIS BIKE!!! If I wasn’t in total shock I woulda crapped myself on the spot!! Zack is not only a tough as nails competitor, he’s great for the sport. The whole park was buzzin after that stunt. I scored his routine that day a perfect 100.
