You’ve ridden a big bike since I’ve known you, with a longer top tube than most other tall rider’s bikes, in your opinion, what are some advantages to riding the bigger bike?
I think some advantages are; more room for my lurchy-ass body and it makes me look like I’m not way too big for my bike, too.

So how long have you been brakeless for? And how is it riding trails like Salem, did it take you a while to adjust?
I’ve been brakeless for about two years now and I like it. I was ready to look at things differently. Salem is good, kinda like any other trails, but a lil’ different—you have to look at every set of trails the same and adjust to every line as you go.

How is filming for the new Fit video going for you?
It’s coming along—I just got over a bum wrist, which set me back a lil’. Summer is here now, so it’s time to session!
