Thursday Night At El Dorado Skatepark

Last Thursday a handful of Long Beach locals including Tony Neyer and Morgan Long cruised over to the El Dorado skatepark for a chill evening session. The park could very well be one of the worst built parks in history, but this video is proof that no matter how bad the transitions are or how many skaters get in the way, if you are riding with good friends, fun will be had and clips will be logged.

That park looks a lot better than the one down here in Lakeland ,Florida or in Plant City. They are the absolute worst in history.

The park design is pretty good, the lights are good, the area is good, the people there are good… But the transitions are made really bad. Lots of bumps and every one is very different.

there should be a worst park contest … photos video, whatever. London ontario would win for sure … 4 or 5 parks and they all are the worst in the world. DO A CONTEST!!!!!!

Yo Tony,
i live right down the street from that park and usually scope the premesis before i go in.
and just a month ago they have this camera that kept flashing in the evening… as if they were going to try to identify you and send you a ticket? hahhaha
i’ve yet to be ticketed but im usually pretty aware when im there.

that park sucks, the trannys are the absolute worst ever if it wasnt for that it would be a cool spot. oh and ridebmx’s server sucks a fat pole

yeah i can even see how lumpy the park is on video. i used to try to ride there when i lived in LB 3 years ago. Guess there wanst many bmxers around that time cuz i would be the only one in there gettin hastled by the skateboarders and bitched at by some stupid blonde skater tomboy girl(that i would not mind bending over). cool to see people havin fun there and it beats my park in Burbank that they wont ever let bikes in.

maybe skaters get in the way because its a SKATEPARK not a bike park. dont get me wrong i ride to and i go to that park every once in a while, it sucks for biking

oh bummer…you have bumpy transitions. you live in southern cali where the weather is amazing and there are more parks than pubes on your johnson. if its that bad why dont you just go to another park? i wish you knew what it was like to live where its cold half the year and you dont even have a park near you…just the ramps you built in your barn.
