Modifications/Other/Extras:
I grinded the hub guard to the shape I wanted, but not much else. We [Fly] try to make the parts as we would like them to be on our bikes so there is not much else to modify.

Explain the unique flange on your pegs.
The bottom is as thick as you need it, but the top is really thin—so it’s really light. And that flange is so you don’t bend or dent the edge of it on the top.

What about your brake cable hanger, is that new?
It’s something we’ve been working on, but the final one is going to be a bit different. It’s a really simple idea that works really well.

Why do you always run your chain and cranks so tight?
(Laughter). I know it’s too tight, but it’s good for me when I do whips so they [the cranks] don’t move, I got used to it and I cant ride it any other way.

Since I’ve known you, your bike has always been light and really dialed, do you work on it often?
Thanks! (Laughter) I don’t work on it that often. I really like my bike when it runs smooth so when it doesn’t I work on it—it only takes a few minutes and it makes riding better!
